5. Cookies and tracking technologies

We may use cookies, tags, pixels, and server-side tracking tools. Where required by law, non-essential technologies activate only after consent. See our Cookie Policy for the full inventory and controls.

6. ATA Ads Connect and Google API data

ATA Ads Connect is an invitation-only connection application for ATA clients. An authorized client administrator can select one or more client-owned advertising accounts from each supported platform. ATA then reads the fields required for private client reporting, monitoring, dashboards, research, analysis, and growth work. The connection page does not display the client's advertising data.

ATA Ads Connect uses the Google Ads OAuth scope. Google controls the wording shown on its consent screen. ATA limits its implementation to listing accounts accessible to the authorizing user, validating only the selected accounts, refreshing the authorization when the user is not present, and reading reporting data. ATA Ads Connect does not create, edit, pause, or delete campaigns, ads, assets, or keywords; change bids, budgets, targeting, conversions, or billing; or request payment-card data, customer lists, or audience data.

The Google refresh authorization is encrypted at rest and retained only while ATA needs the connection to provide the agreed services. Google Ads reporting data is isolated by client, encrypted in transit and at rest, and accessible only to ATA personnel and service providers who need it to deliver the contracted work.

ATA does not sell Google API data, use it for unrelated advertising, transfer it to data brokers, or use it to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. ATA may use infrastructure providers to host and secure the application and its private dashboards, subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

ATA Ads Connect's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Clients can revoke access from the ATA connection receipt or by revoking ATA Ads Connect from their Google Account connections. To request deletion, email contact@advancedtrackingacademy.com. ATA revokes and deletes the stored Google authorization when the connection is disconnected, and deletes stored Google Ads reporting data within 30 days after offboarding or a valid deletion request unless a longer period is required by law.

7. ATA Ads Connect and Meta API data

When a client chooses Meta Ads in ATA Ads Connect, the application requests only the Meta permission needed to read advertising performance. After an authorized administrator selects accounts, ATA reads reporting data for those selected accounts only. ATA does not create, edit, pause, or delete Meta campaigns, ads, budgets, billing information, audiences, customer lists, or account settings.

The Meta authorization is encrypted at rest, used only for the active client connection, and retained only until it expires, is disconnected, is revoked, or is no longer needed for the agreed service. ATA does not sell Meta API data, use it for unrelated advertising, or transfer it to data brokers.

Clients can disconnect through the ATA connection receipt, remove ATA Ads Connect from Meta's business integrations, or email contact@advancedtrackingacademy.com to request deletion. Meta's data-deletion callback removes matching encrypted authorization records and account assignments and returns a confirmation status at this policy URL.

8. How we share personal data

We may share data with service providers that help us operate the website and measure performance. Depending on the live stack, these may include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages)
  • Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads
  • Stape (server-side tagging and consent-evidence infrastructure)
  • Meta Ads
  • TikTok Ads
  • Webhook and automation tools used to route form submissions (n8n)

We do not sell personal data for money. Some privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA) treat advertising attribution disclosures as "sharing" or targeted advertising. Where that applies, we provide the relevant controls.

9. International data transfers

ATA is based in Brazil. Some providers may process data in other countries. When a transfer requires a safeguard under applicable law, ATA relies on a valid mechanism, which may include:

  • Brazil-EU adequacy (recognized January 2026) where applicable
  • ANPD standard contractual clauses or other lawful LGPD transfer safeguards
  • European Commission or UK-approved contractual safeguards

You may request more information about the safeguards relevant to your data by emailing us.

10. US state privacy and Global Privacy Control

If applicable US state privacy law applies to your interaction with ATA, and ATA uses advertising or attribution tools those laws treat as "sale", "sharing", or targeted advertising, you may have the right to opt out. ATA honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out of sale/sharing for US users. Use the "Privacy Settings" link in the footer to manage your choices at any time.

11. Profiling and automated processing

ATA may use limited automated processing to associate visits with campaigns, measure performance, and detect abuse. This may be considered profiling under some laws. ATA does not use solely automated decision-making to produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

12. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as necessary. Our operational baseline:

  • Consent evidence: 5 years
  • Raw attribution identifiers: 90 days
  • Security and diagnostic logs: 30 days default
  • Contact and request records: 12 months after last meaningful interaction
  • Suppression and opt-out records: as long as needed to honor the choice
  • Google Ads reporting data: for the client engagement; deleted within 30 days after offboarding or a valid deletion request unless law requires longer retention
  • Encrypted Google OAuth refresh authorization: for the active client connection; revoked and deleted when disconnected
  • Encrypted Meta authorization: for the active client connection; deleted when disconnected, revoked, expired, or subject to a valid deletion request

13. Your rights

Depending on your location, your rights may include: access, correction, deletion or anonymization, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, information about sharing and transfers, opt-out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (including the ANPD). To exercise any right, email contact@advancedtrackingacademy.com.

14. Children

Our website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn a child has submitted data, we will review it against applicable rules (LGPD Art. 14, GDPR Art. 8) and take appropriate steps including deletion or guardian authorization where required.

15. Security

We use technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege access, provider-side safeguards, and logging. No method is completely secure. If we identify an incident involving personal data, we will assess it and notify as required by applicable law.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
